If you are planning to start a Blog then you should think of Technorati Ranking. Technorati ranking is considered by many people to be your Blog rank. Technorati gives ranking to Blogs which is related with Technorati Authority. So if your Technorati Authority is more then you get a better rank in Technorati.

Technorati Authority is the number of Blogs that link to you in the past 180 days. So the Blog with the top Links get the top rank and the next blogs get the later ranks.

So to improve your Technorati ranking you need more blogs in Technorati linking to you. The best way to increase your Technorati ranking is to ask your friends to link your Blog. You can also write comments on the Do-Follow sites which will help you to get a backlink.
